Nocellara del Belice is an outstanding Italian table olive. Its sweet, slightly bitter taste is perfectly combined with the spiciness of chilli and the freshness of lemon zest. An irresistible combination.
The land by the sea, spoiled by the sun, sweet and generous. It was here, in a strip of green land in the province of Trapani, that the Nocellara del Belice olive was born more than 2,600 years ago. It is a large olive, round and harmonious, with a dense, fleshy pulp that easily separates from the stone. Even without the stone, it retains the aroma and taste of the land in which it grows. Its taste harmoniously combines sweetness and a slight bitterness.
Serve as an aperitif with rich wines, dark beers and fruit cocktails, or as a snack with cheeses and sliced vegetables. Another option: add them to sandwiches and tramezzini.
