The Specialty Coffee Association is a non-profit, membership-based organization that represents thousands of coffee professionals, from producers to baristas from around the world. Based on the principles of openness, inclusivity and the power of knowledge sharing. The COFFEE SKILLS PROGRAM is administered by the SCA and taught by SCA Authorized Trainers (ASTs), providing education at any stage of your career.

COURSE "Introduction to coffee"

Introduction to Coffee

One day course.

• For those who are just starting to explore the World of Coffee;

• Coffee journey: from seed to cup (species, processing methods, roasting, brewing methods);

• Coffee tasting and sensory evaluation.

Duration: 5 hours (including exam – online test)

Course price: 50,000 KZT

SCA administrative fee: 25 euro (paid by the student upon registration)

SCA COURSE "Barista Skills"

• Barista Basic - for beginners Barista (only written exam)

• Intermediate barista - for barista practitioners (practical exam, on line test)

• Professional barista - for Bar Managers / Senior Barista (practical exam, on line test)

(Requires Barista Intermediate certification)

The minimum calendar interval between modules is 3 months.

Brewing

• Brewing Basic – for beginners Barista (written exam only)

• Brewing Intermediate - for practicing Barista (practical exam, online test)
