Fettuccine belongs to the family of long, flat pasta. It is not easy to establish where this type of pasta originated, which is popular throughout Italy, although it has different local names. Probably fettuccine comes from Lazio, where they are the pride of the entire regional cuisine. Fettuccine is very versatile and therefore suitable for making various sauces.
